Cycle Ride across America 2022

3000 Miles from San Diego to St Augustine, Fall 2022

I will be cycling the Adventure Cycling Association route from San Diego, CA to St. Augustine, FL in late 2022 to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation in memory of my wife Pia Samson who died as a result of CNS Lymphoma in April 2021. I’ll be riding the Southern Tier (pictured above) which is roughly 3,000 miles and will take me at least two months to complete, weather permitting! What makes this route particularly poignant is that by coincidence Pia’s parents live in St. Augustine, and I will end the ride at the Marineland Beach where we scattered Pia’s ashes in the ocean in July 2021.
